Secrets of the Heath House at Arne
For RSPB Arne History Week
Now and Then (Secrets of the Heath House)
Discover how the unique and diverse habitat of heathland was created unintentionally by our ancestors and the marks they left on the landscape – the clues to their existence. Explore the reserve with our expert guides and interpret the historic features, created by bronze age people, the romans, farmers and custodians of the land before it became a nature reserve. Including an exclusive opportunity to see our traditionally built heathland house in an area of the reserve usually closed to visitors.
One of our popular Secrets of Arne series of walks – exploring behind the scenes of RSPB Arne nature reserve.
