RSPB Arne Wild Weekend

Come and get up close to nature!

Why do bird beaks differ in shape and size? Come and get up close to nature and learn all about garden birds at our FREE* family friendly RSPB Arne Wild Weekend on Saturday 29th January between 10am and 1pm

Learn how to identify common garden birds- spot the differences of a goldfinch and a chaffinch, or a blackbird and a jackdaw!
Make your own pinecone feeder to take home for birds in your garden or window balcony!
Take your grown up to join our lovely wildlife garden volunteers for a tour of the café garden with ideas advice about ways to garden with feeding birds in mind. Event is open to all.
After the event make sure to use your newfound knowledge to take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch 2022 (28-30 January, FREE app or downloads, FREE to take part) which you can do in your garden, balcony or local greenspace.
If you like tag your pics and make a wildlife pledge #RSPBArneWildWeekend
Event participation is FREE* supported by the NationalLotteryHeritageFund as part of the Hydes Heath project.

*car parking charges apply for non-members
