RSPB Arne: Wild Weekend Who Needs Water
FREE* family friendly event
We continue our wild weekends this June. We are looking at all things to do with ponds and frog and toad houses. Join us for a FREE* family friendly event on the café lawn at Arne. This #WildWeekend focuses on Ponds. You will be able to make a frog/toad house and learn to create a dragonfly or origami frog.
Discover what lies beneath the water in your pond and the battles that go on unseen. You will also learn who are the frequent and not so frequent visitors to a pond and why it is so important to create a freshwater habitat.
Ponds also need plants, and we can offer expert advise on what to plant in and around your pond and the best use of native aquatic plants.
*(Car parking charges apply for non-members).
