Kiln Fired Clay Workshop at Careys Secret Garden

Wise Owls!

During this workshop, under expert tuition, you will be inspired by your natural surroundings in the stunning walled garden at Careys to make beautiful wise owls with kiln-fired clay.
You will also paint your owls using specialist engobes to give a matt or gloss finish depending on the technique and preferred finish.  Your creations will then be taken away to be fired in a kiln oven and returned ready for collection from Carey’s Secret Garden approx. two weeks later.
Your ticket includes admission to Careys Secret Garden on the day of the workshop, free access to the Berlin Wall Exhibit after the event, and another visit with full access to the gardens on the date you collect your piece.
You don’t need to bring anything with you, everything will be provided, all you need is a dash of creativity and a sprinkle of inspiration!
