Explore the ruins to learn about the royal residents of Corfe Castle. Answer the questions to earn your castle siege coin.In 1086 the first stone of Corfe Castle was laid starting its long history as a royalist stronghold and fortress. From imprisonments to banquets Corfe Castle has had a chequered history with its royal owners and visitors. Explore the castle ruins hunting for the hidden shields to learn about the royal residents who used to call the castle home and what they got up to whilst living at Corfe Castle.
Free events but normal admission applies (£11.00 adults / £5.50 child).
Corfe Castle and village are approx. 10 minute drive from Wareham town centre or 15 minutes on the local bus (number 40)
