A two hour chocolate tasting session at in the lovely setting of Careys Secret Garden. Attendees will get an overview of ‘The world of fine chocolate from tree to Chococo’ where you can discover true ethical chocolate production!
From peeling & crushing roasted cocoa beans to make cocoa nibs which you can eat, to tasting chocolate from sweet white to intense dark! You will discover the differences between different types of chocolate, and learn about various cocoa origins & their different flavour profiles. There will be plenty of opportunities to taste different chocolates! Throughout the tasting, Claire will explore the issues around ethical and sustainable chocolate production and explain how Chococo is campaigning toward industrial change. If you love chocolate and are interested in how you can support sustainable cocoa production (and our beautiful planet!) then this event is for you!
Attendees will also be able to enjoy a FREE Chococo Hot Chocolate on arrival to enjoy as part of the chocolate-tasting experience. Claire will also be bringing a selection of delicious Chococo products for you to shop at the end of the event, and all attendees will receive 15% off their purchases.
Careys Secret Garden
An opportunity to visit over three acres of beautiful gardens. Enclosed behind a 19th century wall the garden had been left abandoned for a number of years but has been carefully restored for all to enjoy. Careys is also home to the ‘The Berlin Wall Exhibit’, is a moving and atmospheric new exhibition of original Berlin Wall fragments complete with original artwork and graffiti.
