Sumatra remains home to the most critically endangered Orangutans on the planet. Hear from Careys Secret Garden ‘finder’ Simon Constantine about his experiences in Sumatra, discover why the ‘Gardeners of the Forest’ are now becoming better known for their positive impacts on their forest home, and what is threatening the Orangutan’s future survival, and some good news stories along the way.
Simon is a trustee with Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS) and has campaigned on issues of habitat loss and Palm Oil as well as supporting SOS through his latest venture and fragrance using sustainable ingredients in perfume that support Orangutans. If you are an eco-optimist or in need of some empowering stories about nature winning out then this is the talk for you.
